Part-Time Project Manager / Marketing Coordinator

Compensation: $19-$25/hour

Job Description: I’m looking for a detail-oriented, flexible, and creative Project Manager / Marketing Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in managing social media content, creating engaging digital content, and is adept at organizing and streamlining workflow. A background in the wine industry and social media marketing experience are crucial for success in this position.


Key Responsibilites

1. Social Media and Content Management:

- Manage and maintain content calendars for various clients, primarily in the wine industry.

- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including video reels.

- Actively engage on social media platforms to build presence and community interaction.

2. Graphic Design and Creativity:

- Create compelling graphics and visual content using tools like Canva.

- Photography skills or interest would be a significant asset.

3. Organizational Efficiency:

- Attend and contribute to meetings, identifying action items and deadlines.

- Implement systems for efficient and proficient workflow management.

4. Tool Proficiency:

- Proficient use of operational and marketing tools (e.g., Later, Google Docs, Sheets, Dropbox).

5. Networking and Client Engagement:

- Network within the Willamette Valley to enhance presence and attract new clients.


Additional

Age and Location: Must be at least 21 years old due to the nature of work in fine dining / food / beverage industry.

Preference for candidates living in the Willamette Valley (Newberg, Dundee, McMinnville areas), though not required but commuting to McMinnville will be required weekly.

Work Environment: Role requires both remote work and regular in-person meetings. I’m the sole proprietor of the business, so this candidate would work directly with me.

Industry Knowledge: Previous experience and knowledge in the wine industry are necessary.

Experience: Proven experience in social media marketing is essential. portfolio submissions of past work would be great!

Future Growth/ Full-Time Opportunity: Potential to transition to a full-time position with a leadership role. Looking for a long-term partner. not willing to invest time and energy into candidates who are not serious about the longevity of the position (at least a 12 month commitment)
